I just saw a message on the Balloon_Sked list that the Sunday launch
has been scrubbed. The list promises more information on a future
launch when the student payload is ready for flight.

Which SSTV mode was it using?

It's not a sync problem. All the images are properly framed. Just not good
images even though the signal strength sounds Q5 to me.. Just enough noise
in all of them to be not worth looking at. Ill keep watching... Bob,

I have copied and worked LOTS of SSTV stations on 20
meters. And some were not all that strong. There is a lot of QRM,
doubling, people talking on SSB, etc etc on 14.230.
We also did some SSTV on AO-51 a while back and I got some
good pictures there, too.
Here are a couple of 20M ones at

Hi Farrell,
great post and congratulations.
I am currently having fun with the 1000BPSK telemetry.
Next experinment will be a QSO through the transponder.
Its good to have a satellite that presents a few challenges.
I echo your thanks to the entire ARISSat team.

Don,
Your explanation is much what I expected. Was hoping to find a sstv program
that will accept .wav files. Much easier to create in the field.
My setup is totally portable. Usually use a netbook running Audigy to capture
audio. Will have to run mmsstv whether I like it or not.
In any case, I'
Hi,
I don't think that it is quite correct to say you could record in
"any" format. Straight out old fashioned analogue (for example tape) or
any other loss less recording system would work OK.
For PC recording you need a system that does not compress the data
stream to reduce file size (eg
ot;Virtual Audio
Cable") and use MMSSTV (or any other such program) as normal.

The real problem at this point is format. The sstv software uses an odd
