Don't even think about it! It is EXTREMELY bad practice using FM on a linear transponder. It may consume more than 10 times the bandwidt of SSB/CW. You do have a hobby. Adapt to the situation. Learn something new. Extend your capabilities. SSB/CW and doppler correction are the state of the art
