Seems to me like I might have some ham software for my C64
But I don't remember any pass prediction software
I think I remember tnc stuff, morse code, and test taking training, maybe even
a few antenna programs
But I will look in my collection

I had a tracking program back when. As I recall it would not work after the

*Somewhere* in this grand mess of mine I have a program called "Super VR85
Tracker" that I used for pass predictions when I ran a C=64 and C=128. I worked
perfectly, and was what I used to track the MIR so I could make packet contacts
with it. I'd print out the passes on my dot-matrix printer, a

You might want to contact John Magliacane, kd2bd - as I recall he wrote some
early basic code for the c-64 that later was incorporated into PREDICT.

Hi Jim,
Check out the review I did of several programs for the iPhone, Pod and
Pad in the March 2011 issue of Oscar News. Perhaps there are new ones
since then that folks might comment on.

Besides the other programs listed already, I still use WISP for a few quick
look things, and that works fine on WIN7.
For satellite logging, if you don't use HRD, then the DXLabs DXKeeper. At
one time, it was the only program which actually did LoTW sat QSOs
correctly, and I never found

For logging I've found Logger32 works well, especially for keeping track
of your portable operations. Logger allows you to log to a single
logbook using different operators. For example, I use my callsign for
normal QSOs, and /QRP, /6MTR, /SAT for home SAT QSOs, and /GRID for
portable locatio

I did it on my Acer netbook with Win 7 Home Premium, so I know it works.

Tried it, no luck. Easier to keep using the old machine stand alone.

Don't bother with HRD if all you want it for is satellite work. HRD's
satellite function is a bolt on to the whole suite; SatPC32 is the tool
for the job, has the most excellent back-up service from its creator and
is of benefit to AMSAT.
