I have one problem and does not understand!
In my http.conf (apache) I have:
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined
In my analog.cfg I have:
APACHEDEFAULTLOGFORMAT (%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b %q \"%{User-Agent}i\")
In my run of analog debug on I obtain:
F: Ope

I am using analog 5.32 on Redhat Linux
8.0 with apache 1.3.27 server. I had my host change my logformat
under apache to include the search word field designated by the %q. Since
then I've been unable to run the analog program successfully. I have

Most likely you didn't put the LOGFORMAT comamnd above the LOGFILE command.
The LOGFORMAT only takes effect for later logfiles, so that you can specify
several logf

I have my server logs sent daily by email and have been anlaysing them
without problem since March. While I was on holiday, the logs were sent to a
colleague. She saved each email as a text file, and forwarded them to me on

I'm seeing some anomolous behavior with analog-4.1 on a v3.2 FreeBSD Unix
system. (I've tried a bunch of variations, but this is the simplest
repeatable test case reduced down from the original symptoms.)
