Paul, I would like to also hope that Microsoft will sort it, but based upon my
background in Windows CE, and being all too aware of the mess in that
department when it comes down to browser detection, I wouldn't put it past them
to leave the issue in-place. Their logic would be 'same kernel, sam
Chris,
Blimey. Maybe M$ will make the Windows versions for Vista and Server 2008
different in the end, in the same way XP is 5.1 and Windows Server 2003 is
5.2, because the products share a similar relationship. Who knows, it would
seem a sensible option, though there's little definite evidence
Chris,
Here are details of my user agent, which I tested here:

What are you asking for, a cpu report or all the 64-bit's to be filtered into
their own windows categories? "Win16" "Win32" "Win64" extending upon the
current mantra.

The data is of downloads from my site, but give me some credit here, I
truncated the IP addresses, and your browser version isn't exactly informative
of your security environment.
I'll have a think about doing it the next time I have the IDE running.

Chris,
I'm not really asking for anything, just making a few suggestions because I
thought you had the bit between your teeth. If you don't that's fine by me
although the other people that I test for are always happy when I have ideas,
even if they aren't entirely pleased with how many I have.

That depends on what you are looking for - does win32/win64 really
matter if it's a 32-bit browser anyway.
Or to put it another way, if you modified Analog to list Windows XP32
Hey Aengus,
I think ideally both Firefox and Opera would be a little more informative
because it would be great to have an accurate OS report as well. But you're
right from my point of view (mainly design) I just need to know the browser
that my visitors are running, although there are subtle d
Hello,
I seem to remember there is a command to set the starting time for the report.
I used "from Tue-09-Oct-2007 14:00" but it doesn't work. Does anyone know the
exact syntax?
Thanks,
Linda
