review.

Having no option to see comments in language other than your own is
just one of the many boneheaded decisions made by the Android Market
team. The fact is that most comments are in English even if the
writer is in a different country is besides the point -- they are not
visible on devices which ar
This may work for current users, assuming they still use the app, but not
necessarily prospective users. I noticed some interesting things about
comments , it seems comments in language X will only show for users whose
market is in language X. My app is fairly new and has high ratings, but

You can always do what TreKing did and respond to the comments on your
website and "inform" your users of your response!

You can buy from yourself using a different Google account (and a
different device).

Yes, as I said I cannot buy it, for me, the market does not allow me to
purchase from myself, that's the message I receive. I'll try removing all
market updates.

Install the release version of your app on your device and the Market app
might mark it as "Installed", allowing you to comment and review like any
other app. If it doesn't do it, try uninstalling all
How do you review your own _paid_ app? This would be handy to respond
to some comments, but Im not able to purchase my own app to do so. Or
were you just referring to free apps?

I have the solution for you: ignore all users that don't know to reach
you.
The comment section of the Market is read-and-forget only most of the
time.

Yeah, all too true.
I have contact info in the application as well, and most (not all, but
most) emails I get are "Sent from my HTC" and "Sent from my Verizon phone".
So these users don't understand something as basic as how to use their
phone's back key.

A month ago (May 20th), I changed my URLs to proxy through goo.gl so I
can get some tracking going.
Here are my total # of clicks in the last month for each with about
5000 active installs:
Google Groups: 46
Twitter: 9

step. Why would they when Google says "make your statement here as a
