Unless you're shipping an official GUI application, it should really
be up to application developers and icon theme authors what the
functional icons look like. The point of this logo is to give artists
a common starting point that can be adapted to their needs. When users
see the shield with the

I like the red too; I prefer the cyan but that just might be a holdover
from my
I see. I misunderstood what you meant when you said that the 'A's were
hard to see at smaller sizes. I thought you were talking about smaller
icon resolutions. If you have a fairly average sized HiDPI screen, but
only use 1x scaling, there's really not much I can do about that, but
I'm glad that

I like them both. Thank you. Wonder what others think.

Here are 2 different versions. One has a 45 degree split while the
other has a split at an angle that mirrors the angle of the inner
sides of the 'A's.

Thanks. I also wonder how it looks when colors are distributed like below:
A/
/A
instead of:
A|
|A
Maybe this can be put on vote on AppArmor summit?

Asymmetry isn't really part of the design, but the shadows all come
down at a 45 degree angle. The long legs fade back into the inner
shield backgrounds of the same color. The lower part of the long leg
of the cyan 'A' is actually a separate piece that blends the leg into
the shadow as if it was

Whoops, I accidentally sent an older 32x32 version. I've attached the
64x64 version with some slight adjustments to the size of the 'A's,
inner shield and height of the shadow on the leg of the white 'A'.
This kind of logo isn't really suitable for icon resolutions smaller
than 32x32, so I could

Hi Noah,
nice, thanks
Hello,
I'm working on icons for openSUSE's YaST Control Center and I realized
AppArmor needed a unique and attractive way to identify it. I have
attached the logo I came up with. Constructive feedback is
appreciated.
Thanks,
