That's a good list.
I am concerned about hitting root suckers with herbicides and impacting the
tree. Is there a recommended herbicide that will not be translocated and burn
off the leaves of the suckers? Then follow later with an application of a
more effective herbicide.
Try Groamxone..It is a burning herbicide that we use to burn weeds and
sometimes suckers. It contains Paraquat, which is not mobile inside the plant.
You do not want to use Roundup because it moves inside the suckers into the

Try Scythe made by Gowan. It is quite a bit more expensive but also quite a
bit safer for someone new to the practice. It works similarly to Gramoxone
when used at the higher labeled rates.
