I have the same problem with udev 081-1 and dvd+rw-tools 6.0-1.  I reverted to 5.21.4.10.8-4 and all is fine.   There is a new udev (081-2) out that I have not tried yet.It is not permissions, root has the same burning problem. ___ arch mailing list arch

This problems occurs for me with both archck 2.6.14-archck7 and with 2.6.15-archck2, but not with a vanilla 2.6.14 with ck7 applied...what is most interesting to me is that for a while after powering on my system my RAM is more utilized, but starting at around 2 hours of uptime the swapping occurs
