I have the same problem with udev 081-1 and dvd+rw-tools 6.0-1. I reverted to 5.21.4.10.8-4 and all is fine. There is a new udev (081-2) out that I have not tried yet.It is not permissions, root has the same burning problem.

Hi Lukas,
I'm having the same problem.
K3b is only a front end to other utilities.
If you try growisofs (or mkisofs) directly you'll get something like
this:
growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/dvd=/Dvd/dvd.iso
-dvd-video
Executing 'builtin_dd if=/Dvd/dvd.iso of=/dev/dvd obs=32k
seek=0'

This problems occurs for me with both archck 2.6.14-archck7 and with 2.6.15-archck2, but not with a vanilla 2.6.14 with ck7 applied...what is most interesting to me is that for a while after powering on my system my RAM is more utilized, but starting at around 2 hours of uptime the swapping occurs

Hello,Apologies in advance for such a long post...wasn't sure how to get my issue across without the details...I've recently started using the ArchCK kernel as I was interested in taking advantage of some of the features it includes. I previously used a vanila kernel with ck, fbsplash, suspend2 (m
Hi everybody,
yesterday I upgraded my Arch Linux installation and K3b stopped burning DVDs (I haven¨t had time to test CDs yet). The errors occur when attempting to write either Video DVD or Data DVD.
When I add AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS into the project dialog box and click the Burn button, the follw
