You have to change your bootloader to use it by default,
as mentioned while installing.
We will leave this stuff for a long period in this stage to smash all bugs
until moving it to mkinitcpio only setup.

Hi please send us the files without! sort and uniq!
this log is totally useless because you cannot see what file in which package
triggers the error.
the script already does sort and uniq when it's ok.

the detction is normally the same, it uses the pci resources to decide which
module is needed, from what kernel are you updating?
normal 2.6.16.x or something else?

Ahh you use vmware, well i don't know vmware that much, so anyone else with
vmware experience should look at this issue i think.
all devs use their own systems afaik and no vmware.

Hi,
yes pacman -Syu should be enough to migrate.
The standard options in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf should work for most users,
lvm,raid,encrypt etc. needs to be setup by the user.
