Package with a symlink and conflicts/replaces is now in [testing], will
move to extra and move the deprecated packages to AUR over the weekend
if everything goes well.

Hi folks,
As you may know bzr is python2 only, and most distros [0] [1] are
switching over to a drop-in replacement fork named breezy [2].
The latest version just added python 3.8 support, so I pushed a package
to [extra] [3].
I propose we add a symlink from bzr to brz in the breezy package,

Hi guys,
libavresample was initially merged into ffmpeg to be a drop-in
replacement for libav, but was never maintained by ffmpeg itself in
favor of their own libswresample. According to upstream, libswresample
can do everything libavresample can do and more [1], plus libavresample

+1 here as well.
I don't test i686 either and I already have a few packages (emulation related)
that are x86_64 only, either because they won't build on i686 without some
fixes, or because upstream flat out dropped support for it.

Hi all,
Please disregard the FFmpeg 3.2 rebuild todo I just created, there was no
soname bump and only mpv needed a rebuild, which has been done already.

Hi all,
I will be away for the next 5 days with little to no internet access. I should
be able to end the discussion period for Nico's TU application and launch the
vote at approximately the proper date, but as far as packaging goes, please
cover for me should the need arise.

Hi all,
A new 3.1.1 FFmpeg point release just came out, fixing the ABI issues present
in 3.1. This means we
have to start the FFmpeg rebuild over, apologies for the inconvenience.
I edited the 3.1 rebuild and passed everything back to incomplete,

Hi all,
A vulnerability via which someone can steal files from remote machines has
been discovered in FFmpeg and was made public. See associated bug report
[1].
Disabling networking altogether seems a bit much, but James Darnley @
FFmpeg suggested that disabling HLS should do the trick until a

It is closed source and Plex only provides binaries for Ubuntu, Fedora and
