I think everyone has a right to voice their view. There has been so
much Kailesh bashing going on, I would like to give this interview's
link. So that you all see how much he appreciates ARR.

More tidbits about this song:
This was Unnikrishnan's first duet in a film. He was apprehensive
about singing it. As you know, with Rahman, each singer does his or
her part separately, without the other even being present. But for
this recording, UnniKrishnan was at the studio first and had Ch

Many years back, in an interview that I still recall, Rahman's mom had said:

Even I have had this question for long...especially in her early days in

definitely, ARR's alltime popular humming was by Sujatha. I can say it is the
best. For Kadhal Rojave ... the 'lalala laa'. Closely following, is Chithra's
intro hummings for the sax in Duet.

I don't know. It's a bit difficult to file cases, as these TVs are all

undesirable situation.

Thanks very much Vithur. Have heard your uploads. All pretty good.
This one with Chithra is very good.
Thanks for your work.

Vithur,
How rightly Sathyaraj has said! The son of Tamilnadu, the pride of
India. Extremely proud of Rahman. He has conquered the world scene,
starting from Chennai. From Roja to Slumdog Millionaire, you have

what Bollywood has been projecting as Indian all these years. It's
wonderful that A.R.Rahman

Quite a lot of musicians were present, but I believe that the musical
show was by Yesudas and Chithra. I am not sure if ARR participated in
the singing, besides rendering a couple of lines of Tera Bina.
I agree, Das needs no recommendation. Even at 68, it's his name on

I don't think there is a dig. He has given his opinion that Rahman
brought in untrained singers, who's mistakes were corrected with
technology. But whatever Rahman does has caught on like virus to
other music directors...let alone that others are not as dedicated or
creative as Rahman. Singe

Is the Toronto concert fully confirmed by Rahman? I have been let
down a couple of times in the past when concerts were announced(even
in the official sites) but did not happen.
The list of singers performing seems much less compared to his
earlier concerts.

Thank you so much. This is great. Even I was hooked around 1995
time only(was too young to think of music before, else would have
started with Roja). So am not aware of too much of the press
coverage before that time. Good to see something from back then.

As I had earlier mentioned, I dislike linking blog posts because
usually, they are one-sided and biased, and full of personal
prejudice. I was reading this person's review of the concert but then
was upset with what he refers to as, Rahman's discrimination. A lot of
blogs are giving wrong pro
Are you sure about this information? According to sources, Chithra has

Sukwinder. But it would be surprising, since Chitra is one of the main
attraction for the South Indian audience and Sukwinder is also a big
lead in the concert,
