I would like to see the ability to define local variables instead of
creating a seperate new hidden fields for holding dynamic data. I think that
would take out a lot of performance overhead while loading a form in user
tool.
Merry Christmas to all.

Hi all,
does anybody know a way how to find out the actual ARS Homepath from the actual
opened User client? Best would be within a set-fields action.
I need this to save some Attachements temporarily into this path.
Thanx,

Permissions are good; public has access.
The problem, I think, is that the email engine isn't processing templates at
all. I can use a template but all I get in the resulting email is the text of
the template. For example:

You may need to look at the PERMISSIONS on that attachment field. For a
test, make it PUBLIC and then see if that works.

The AR Home path is not set in a clients environment, but is set in the
ar.ini file. I do not think there is a way using workflow or any Run Process
action so get this but to go into the ini file and find the path from
there.. You could try setting the contents of the ini file to display only 0
Hello List,
I currently having some issues getting my SMS Sync to sync with DSL. My
configuration:

Operating System Windows NT 5.2 (Windows 2003)
I'm recieving the following error when I run the sync command:
C:\SMSSyncset
Does anyone know how to suppress the Error box that comes up after you
run a macro that finds no valid data?

I think it is actually different than that... (The ar.ini lives inside
the directory that Sileem is looking for.)
The value might come from:

Yes you have something there.. I didn't really think of the fact that the

And that's a very valuable point you have made about users accidentally
downloading a file that is already a resident of the home directory and thus
overwriting it.. Using the
I don't think the ARS Home Path is in the ini. I think that is the

The data is in the Registry. If you want you can do a Set Fields
RunProcess to pull the data with one of the following command strings.

Thanks for the effort, Jason, though it has largely become a training exercise
at this point. I decided to stick with what I know better and wrote some
workflow to push the attachment to the AR System Email Attachments form, the
text fields to the AR System Email Messages form, relate the two
Hi J.T.,
Are you trying to use one of the text templates that export out of the admin
tool for an outgoing email? I haven't tried that but isn't quite what I am
talking about.
I have been trying to test this but had some issues with my VM. I was
finally able to resolve the VM issues but
