I don't think so.. I haven't received anything from them personally. If they

Hello,
I have perused the archives quite a bit looking for a way for Date/Time

This is on solaris 9, AR 6.3 patch 22.
I have tried the following:

Basically, I opted out before, but I started getting it again. I'm assuming
they pull email addresses from the ARS List whether we signed up or not, and
even if we opt out, when they harvest the email addresses here again, it
apparently overwrites the opt out. That is where the violation takes
Just out of curiosity, how are they violating the CAN-SPAM Act?

Hello listers,
I have modified several fields on HPD:Help Desk to have only permissions of
a dynamic group that I have added to the form. This is to restrict access
to these fields based on operational category values, or give Public access
otherwise. This works fine--so far so good. However, wh

Does anyone out there know how Remedy produces the indentation effect to start

Yeah, I would suggest the same thing as Matt.
On the button click, pop up the Email system form and add the record to the
corresponding (Incident/Request/Work Order/Task) Work Log.
You can also build some workflow where the incoming emails with a subject of
Incident/Request/Workorder/Task are pus

There are email templates, but be aware that unless the field has public
viewing capabilities, the field is not included in the template. You
may have to add the fields manually to the template. That is not
difficult at all.
We have several processes that create a CHG ticket and a few that crea
Neil,
Take a look at the form called "Email System." You can use that as a template
for your sendmail form. Then it's just a matter of placing a button in the
incident management application to call the form and writing workflow to push
the data back to the work log.

You can export email templates from the Admin tool. For Incident
submission, remember to use the HPD:INC:IncidentInterface_Create form.

We want to created a macro that downloads to employees desktops, you can
usually do this using %userprofile% so it is not specific to the
employee. So this is what I am trying to use
%userprofile%\Desktop\Report.csv
So that the csv file in the macro will automatically save it to the

Hi Team.
Is there any OOTB email template which we can use to create Incidents in
ITSM IM module by just sending an email to the Remedy server?
Just wondering if there are any OOTB templates?
Thanks & Regards,

I am working with Remedy service desk 7.0 and have recently received a
request to have a modification put into place that will allow a technician
generate an update email from within the remedy console. I’m envisioning
something like a field where I can make updates to the incident, push a

Same here. I wonder if they know that they are violating the CAN-SPAM Act.
Perhaps we should find out who is behind it, as they can be fined $11,000 for
each individual email they send out.
