How can we create a drop-down field that allows multiple selection? I have created a character field and attached it to a menu with "append item" selected. However the customer wants to disable edit feature on this character field. Any suggestion?   Thanks Shweta --- _

We use Tomcat and Port 8080 for our mid tier. For some reason the installation of Tomcat from the Midtier comments out the Connector = port 8080 line and I have to uncomment it. It never did that before, so I wasn't looking for that. It's working now though! Thanks! Lisa ___

You're right - the analogy isn't perfect. The point was really just that the hardware platform is different and the binaries must be compiled for the platform they're running on. Maybe Linux running on Intel vs. Linux running on PowerPC would have been better. You are correct that the OS APIs
