Frank,
Did you get these issues resolved?
Can you share some of your experience with ARS 7.604 SP2, ITSM 7.604SP2 and
Mid-Tier 8.1SP2.
Thanks,
Terje

Carol,
I create files on my server (Solaris) from a filter by issuing a 'Run
Process' action. The action is something like
echo $field$ $File Path$
and then
echo $field $File Path$
What I'm echoing (the $field$) is a bit more complex than that to account for
Carriage Returns. Once I
Is there documentation or a way for me to find out what options were chosen for
all the application install performed when the suite stack installer was built.
I want to replicate the same setup with only a couple changes (such as not
installing the language packs and not installing SRM).
I think only BMC would have that info. The SSI is one of those things that
is provided as a convenience and is one of those if it doesn't work for
your situation don't use it kind of things. The SSI does a DB restore of
a preconfigured database, only BMC would know what is in their and how it
is
I posted a discussion to the BMC Communities last month regarding using the
SSI vs. cloning. If you didn't see it I would love feedback if you have
any thoughts on the matter.

I'll take a look. Thanks Jason.

On the other hand it is nice to see what the competition is putting on

A few ways we have done it using a Run Process from Windows to AIX
(typically) are:
- Use a SSIS package developed in MSSQL. One step creates the file and
another step uses the built-in FTP connector (I can't remember if that is
the official name) to transfer the file.
- Use PSCP or PSFTP
That would be the nice thing to do wouldn't it? :)
I'd like to think I would. I usually just take a quick glance so I don't
remember finding any typos. Besides of course experience with ITSM 6.3. I
don't point that one out because I think it is fun (maybe I am sick that
way?).

On Wed,
So after I emailed my suggestion that there may be a type... I do a google
search and the word I thought was a typo is actually not a typo in the IT sense
of the word, just in the normal usage sense of the word.
So never mind!

What is the best way to pull SLM data out for an incident? I am pulling all
the INCIDENT data out and would like to pull all the associated SLM data out
with it. Is there a join form between the two?
Thank you

For our data warehouse we pull the information from the SLM_Measurement form. I
guess it depends on how you are using SLM.

Hi Roger,
Sometimes it is deliberate, happens a couple of times a year.
It is only when they say don't tell my boss, they don't know I am looking
for a new job that one has to wonder about their attention to detail :)
While we are on that topic, can someone tell me what

Tammy,
It is a serious developer 'forum', but sometimes people can get a bit
wackyand you will find Dan is from Canada...so I can guarantee you he
doesn't live in an 'at-will' state, although I don't know how those same
rules apply to the province he lives in, or laws in general in Canada...
Carol,
I think it really depends on what you need as a report.
Another method is to use the Notify action to create a file on the server
