I've only recently moved past working with v7.1, so I'm relatively new to
the Dev Studio. While it's certainly got some benefits over the old Admin
tool, it's also got some significant issues.
One of the worst of these is that it's very frequently throwing an error

No, I hadn't. I'm not a java guy, but a quick look and research suggests
it'll be the -xmx option...is this correct? I've bumped it from 1024 to
4096 to see if it'll help.

What version of Dev Studio? The widget disposed error is a known issue.
Support gave me a hotfix for it but I think it is addressed in the most
recent patch of 8.1.

In addition to what Kelly and others have already mentioned, you can also
extract data from two separate Remedy forms using the Subreport feature in
Crystal Reports. To which system are you migrating, BTW?

Web services are consumed in remedy through set fields action in a filter.
Just create a filter and load the WSDL file you want to consume in Remedy.
When you are creating a web service in remedy , you need to enter the
appropriate values in the below mentioned URL(WSDL publishing
The utility arsignal does come with command line help (arsignal /?) - check
if there is a mention of it there. I'd check for you, but don't have an
available server to check it on.
