Hi Listers,
I'd be interested to hear of others experiences with the different VARs
related to support. TCS (Tata Consulting) gets a lot of mention here due
to cost. Anyone had experience with them? Feel free to email me off list
if you like.
Thanks

Hi Frank -
I run nested AL Guide loops on a 6.0 server to build a file of command
line arguments.
Set Field 1 to $NULL$
Append 'table 1' value to 'Field 1'
Append 'table 2' value to 'Field 1'
Append carriage return to 'Field 1'
Walks both tables as expected.

I know that using a 5.x user tool against a 6.x server will cause issues
with passwords. It seems that when a password field is set it isn't
decoded properly, so the next time the user record is saved, the new,
unknown password is saved to the record. Not sure if this is replicated in

Hi All -
We're looking to update our staffing model to better support v7.0 and ITIL

Thanks.

We have this implemented in a custom helpdesk application. The user/ticket
id info is pushed to a separate form when an existing record is
opened/displayed. On Close/Un-display the entry is cleared.
When attempting to open a record in read-write the form holding locking
info is queried, if a m
One con of the ARS 6.0 archiving is that once you turn it on, you can't
add fields to the form being archived. there's a current bug logged and
I've been waiting for a fix for about 2 months. I'd advise against that
path.

the problem I am having is with the Radio Button field. Try creating
one of these dirctly on the archive form and you cannot set the attributes.

Ron,
What was Remedy's final response to

I tested with a generic form and got
