We have a 64 bit sles11sp1 system now running 7.6.0.4 after going
through the upgrade process. It's a custom system with no ITSM.
For midtier we did this:

We're using ARS 7.x. Is there any way to send an email notification and

For example, in the Notify Text you could have:

I was able to get my hands on 7.5 api. 100% java is VERY nice, works
great. Also works on 64bit.

I've had no luck getting IBM Netcol Gateway connected to ARS 7.1.
Technically it's not supported, so I'm looking at other options. I'm
looking at creating tickets using Java API and then updating back to
Netcool using nco_sql.

We just upgraded our server from Win32/ARS 6.x to Linux/ARS 7.1. We also
use Netcool and I'm having trouble getting Netcool's Remedy Gateway to
connect to the new server. Couple questions:
We're running ARS on port 9901. Clients connect fine and I can see in a

We've just moved to a new ARS 7.1 backend system. During this upgrade
we're also making heavy use of LDAP for user management. I'm not the

On the Remedy side we created an ARDBC LDAP Configuration.
We also created a Vendor Form. This was

I'm trying to install ARS 7.1 on SLES 10. I've tried both SLES 10 SP1

We're running ARS 6.3/Helpdesk 4.0.3. I'm trying to add a group and
having a weird problem. I go through Configuration Manager and add the
group and as far as I can tell it adds fine.
If I then go to Group Population I can select the new group, but when I
click the "Add Person..." button I get an

I'm trying to install a test box to look at version 7.x. I have Centos

I can connect to oracle fine from a remote machine and locally using

I'm putting together a new server to install(upgrade to) v7. My current

I've had this issue with the libraries on linux. In my case even though

So I have this in /etc/rc.local so it happens on boot:

I'm going to be upgrading to Remedy 7 soon. At the same time I'm going
to switch from Windows 2000 to Linux.
For those running linux, is anyone running on CentOS?
What version of CentOS OR Redhat Enterprise are people running?
Any other linux flavors being run?
