Re: CMDB 2.01 supported with Helpdesk 6.0 Application?

At UserWorld, several of us were told the same thing - that is "BMC is taking the necessary steps to officially enable the use of ITSM 6.0 with CMDB 2.0.1". It was quite a popular topic at the time, but BUW was around 5 - 6 months ago right? It has been in progress for an incredibly long time now..

Hi Rick, Norm, On the ITIL thread - no toolset should be calling itself "ITIL compliant" - the OGC (who own ITIL) do not offer any test or certificate of ITIL compliance (http://www.itil.co.uk/faqs.htm#97 ). The more correct term would be "ITIL aligned", and wh

It can be done if you get rid of the LIKE On Window Loaded, run a guide that loops through either SHR:Assignment or $GROUP$ (whichever is easier for you), and build up a query in a Character field that reads something like this: 'Assigned to Group+' = ""Group A"" OR 'Assigned to Group+' = ""Group

Hi Lee, This isn't surprising. The ITSM consoles grind to a halt as well once a similar number of HD tickets are raised. Try looking for qualifications that use $GROUPS$ with a "LIKE" and replacing them with something a bit smarter. We use a guide that finds all groups a user is in and builds up
