* Visual SourceSafe (VSS) is very lacking as a Source Control system.
* However, it is easy to get setup and running with the existing ARS
integration to MS SC API.
* You likely will find the details of how VSS works to be
disappointing from a technical implementation

Actually as far as I know (or last I checked) ClearCase has so serious
of flaws in how it works with ARS that I would call it unusable. There
are workarounds to most of the issues but it is so buggy to
