When I looked at it in the web GUI, it had the SSL module as blank
version, not installed. When I went to the server and checked the
package manager for perl, it had it listed with whatever version was
packed in the ASSP set. It listed a newer version (1.32) which I

Since the 1.8.5.4 stables have come down, I've had problems with the
notification e-mails ASSP sends out. Everything with the exception of
the rebuild script report and the block report has had what looks like
UTF-8 encoding enabled.
The subjects don't show up on my e-mail list (though opening

Please tell me you've been sorting them during the three weeks?
In all honesty, I check the logs, block report, and spam/not spam
folders almost daily to make sure the mails are sorting correctly. I'd
highly suggest this for the initial setup of ASSP.

I'm not receiving notifications.

Watching the mailing lists is also a good idea.

AFAIK, you cannot determine the release state based on the version
number. I'll yield to any of the developers, but I believe the latest
release at SourceForge is the latest stable release regardless of
version number. In this case, 1.7.1.1 is the latest stable release.

Ok, if I'm guessing correctly, removing the entry in smtpDestinationSSL
causes ASSP to send the mail on the default smtpDestination port.
Which means it works, and ASSP gives a SSL connection to receive mail,
but forwards it to the mail server without the SSL part.
Am I on the right track?
