Right at the end of your Zapata.conf you have:
#include zapata_additional.conf
hanguponpolarityswitch
;Include genzaptelconf configs
#include zapata-auto.conf
Remove that hanuponpolarityswitch as you already have
hanguponpolarityswitch=yes earlier on, and I don't know what having the
second one,
This is my zaptel and zapata. In my logger.conf this is what is enabled :
full => notice,warning,error,debug,verbose.
How can you turn on the log in chan_zap.c and where you can access
it. You can see i'm a newbee :-)
Thanks for your help

Much thanks to those of you who are following this
thread. The information has been most helpful.
Here's an update for those who are interested. I
unplugged everything from every phone line, and tried
it all again, and it worked!

I had a similar problem when first testing my * setup.
I was testing it with an active dual line phone line
(all four wires active) and for some reason the X100P
did not like that at all.

I have, and it works fine. In fact, If I plug the
card into the line, and then a phone into the 'phone'
jack on the card, the line works fine (though I can't
imagine why that would make a differenc

Hello, folks,
I'm having a problem where my X100P isn't behaving
the way I think it should.
I have the hardware installed fine, with the phone
line connected to the port labeled 'line', and nothing
in the port labeled 'phone'.
The zaptel and wcfxo modules load fine, and there is
a line in

When i make a call from Asterisk everything goes Ok,
I do have a problem: when a call from the PSTN originates, the extension
in Asterisk hangs up and I only hear silence in the PSTN for
approximately 60 seconds.

So maybe is the timeout used by your Telco (Entel?) Here at Chile we
use 30s to let called people to be able to hang and get the call on
another phone plugged to the same line.
