Maybe this is a stupid question but how to you enable debubg or logging on
spandsp? I see you can do that for RXFAX but when people tell you to enable
debug on spandsp, do they mean this with rxfax or how do you do it with
spandsp?
You can do it writing:
exten => s,1,rxfax(/
pre25 is working fine for me.

Yes, I have compiled and used rxfax succesfully on 1.0.9, 1.0.10 and 1.2.4
to receive from analog fax machines. I have never yet been able to get
rxfax working with txfax - my debugs when I try look like the logs in your
email.

Hmmm. I was using "faxdetect=incoming" -- is that wrong? I'll give
"both" a shot -- though the fax machine, itself, is on a POTS line.

Hi,
Are you using
exten => fax,1,rxfax(. in extensions.conf
and
faxdetect=both in zapata.conf?
If yes, have you tried assigning an extension number for receiving
fax? (instead of the "fax" extension)

I have tried to install spandsp.
makefile.patch is buggy.
Compile app_rxfax and app_txfax by hand.

I'm certainly not the expert on this topic, but I believe the issue has
to do with the pci bus and probably relates to the TigerJet chip used on
the card. Until that's addressed, any analog modem use through the card
will be marginal at best. (Same issue as with the older x10
