Astlinux appears to have a busybox implementation of nc as standard equipment.
But a busybox "lite" version may not be feature complete
connection:

Am I correct in this assumption and if so what is the easiest way to disable

I have set up a Patton 4114 (4 port FXO) gateway at a client location
interfaced to a SNOM ONE (nee PBX N SIP) system. In my application, it is
