I'm pretty sure we extended support for SATA devices in trunk.
Eventually we'll have that ready to test then release. Most people who
are using Astlinux are installing it on a CF card and not using SATA
devices. It is something we want to support though.
Trunk already has a much newer kernel

I meant to refer to kernel 2.6.26.8 where we have the realtime timers
working fine.
In my previous email I refer to 2.6.24 which is wrong.

I tried to install Astlinux on a SATA (sda) disk but I got the following error
message when booting the first time:
Runnix device not found
/bin/sh: can't access tty: job control turned off
I have seen that several users are having the same issue but I haven´t seen any
solution. Is there
