I set it up and it works fine for me. I'm running Asterisk 1.8.10.0-rc1,

Hi list,
since Asterisk 1.6.0 there is a way to execute CLI commands when Asterisk
starts. You can also trigger a dummy call, which triggers a special context,

No, that card is supported by DAHDI out of the box. For some newer features you
need Asterisk 1.8.x. (CCBS, ...). If you used mISDN before, you need to switch
to DAHDI.
There is a page about that in the Wiki.

Hi list,
as we have already a working DHCP- and TFTP-server, it is really easy to add
the Netbooting feature (PXE) to AstLinux.
I created a new Wiki page for this topic and also provided a package with files
needed for this:
http://doc.astlinux.org/userdoc:tt-netboot
Have fun

Hi David,
One of my customers is using the snom M9 quite successfully. The handsets are a
matter of personal taste, but the M9 basestation was one of the few, which
allows 4 simultanious SIP calls, which was important for this customer. They
are using it in a small call center scenario and they

When I remember right, you need to have an external or DynDNS address, not a
local.

Hi list,
I have more and more customers using queues in AstLinux.
I just wanted to ask, if there are other AstLinux users using queues and how
you display the queue status.
I normally change a not used Asterisk command (e.g. Jabber) in the Prefs to
"queue show" to display
it on the Status Tab,
Maybe this link can help with DND:
http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2011-March/260097.html
Otherwise I always define a subscription context in sip.conf, e.g. "blf".
There is another CLI command: "sip show subscriptions"

On this page is an example, how you can realize DND status with custom hints:
