The thing to do here is to enable PHY error reception and see if any
of the PHY errors correspond with your 50% missing packets.
It's a difficult thing to catch because the PHY errors may also occur
due to background noise, so you'll likely be looking for increases in
the PHY error rates when you

It also includes changes to the beacon logic for Mesh, eg:

And I'd -really- appreciate it

Why do we need this feature?

This patch maintains a beacon interval for each beacon. The SWBA interrupts
are based on the shortest interval of the active beacons.
This has been tested as a mesh access point with both AP and MESH
on one interface.

Some wireless base stations implement 802.11n mode in ways that
open-source drivers cannot handle properly, resulting in very unstable
connections. This patch introduces an '11n_disable' option to the ath9k
driver, similar to the same option for the iwlagn driver.
Tested at the internal wireles

Hello,
I have an ath9k compatible wlan nic (TP-Link TL-WN851N v1, pci id:
168c:0023) and every 30 seconds all outgoing packets seem to be
blocked/delayed for about 2 seconds (incoming traffic seems to be
unaffected). There are no error messages logged by the kernel.
The network freezes are easily
Dear Shri Md shafi,
I down-loaded the fw file and have compat file dated 18-06-2011.
Should I first remove the ndiswrapper driver and then run the compat file or
as it is I can go ahead and run the "make" file?
I also copied the fw file in the /lib/firmware directory.
I presume that you will

Hello
By recommendation I bought a Sony UWA-BR100 to get a good 802.11n
USB-adapter for my Linux-PC.
I followed instructions on
http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ath9k_htc and manually
edited ./drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath9k/hif_usb.c to include the USB
id. This was suggested here,
