Back on Linux: Those who use evolution, you can turn off elements in the view menu in the main window to make things easier, also turn on carret mode in email messages, and read them. IT's my prefered email client now, how things change or something

I ran Linux up until a few months ago, and Thunderbird worked fine for me. Although, I didn't have any folders with 5,000 messages in them. Evolution used to work years ago, but it didn't seem to work the last time I tried it. Since you got Evolution

Hi there,so, after two days of playing and Evolution tricking me, I have finally managed to trick Evolution. Firstly, I have cleaned my inbox a bit on gmail side by creating and applying filters, removing unnecessary messages, and splitted my emails

Thunderbird is bad both on Win and Linux. I personally used Evolution, but what you describe now it is not so good now.

This is why I still use Windows. Thunderbird performance is very bad compared to the same CPU using windows. I hope Evolution becomes accessible. That will change the game.
