You still can't get individual channels out of a simultaneous recording, though. Not unless you have a dedicated multitrack recorder.

No, not separate channels on the mixer at least. Multi-track recorders aare often either self-contained, or much more pricy.

Yeah, as I said. I can for example use the mixer for conference calls in skype, listening to something via the mixer USB output while talking through the mixer USB input. The QX1204USB can do that.

But will it let you send your system audio across the wire along with the mixer's existing microphone audio? That's what the q802 doesn't do.

The one I have right now, the QX1204USB, is two-way though. It allows me to receive the USB output at the mixer (to listen to it e.g. via headphones), and send my microphone signal to the PC to communicate with someone

Also, FL Studio's asio driver is lightyears better than asio4all in terms of performance. A lot of Behringer mixers, being class-compliant, just ship with asio4all. Kind of a screwup within the acquisition of Behringer
