Re: can't install linux in normal ubuntu, there is the super+m key that shows the notifications list. Unlike mate, you can act upon them, that side of it is accessible. What is not that accessible is the desktop, actually, it's not accessible at all, it's like that install as superuser

Re: can't install linux To check..Did you get to the desktop with try Ubuntu or did it just put you in an installer? It should, last I remember from 20.04 put you in a menu initially, thengives you select language, and then a try or install. You want to hit try if that's the case URL
