Even if people have their own charger, it still isn't acceptable, because apple upped charge wattage to 20 watts, and most people have the 5 watt charger probably, and will want to upgrade to use fast charging.

So the problem is this. If you have an older IPhone, you likely didn't have the fast 20w charger that can charge your phone faster. That means you cough up like another 30 or so to get a charger, which btw is not an optional component.
