Dunno, your components have enough resolution that I'd think you should
be able to hear a difference if there was one. Beats the heck outta me,
as I've heard similar improvements with upgraded power supplies, as
others have.

Well I guess I don't dislike the linear psu as its been in a month :)
was a bit worried at first as I found the top end a bit over powering.
Tried the switch back to the stock psu just to see, expecting a big
drop in top frequencies, hardly noticed it
Good to hear you got it built and are hearing some improvement. I heard
a change in sound quality as time went on as well.

converted the copy to a 128k mp3. Then I've compiled the two versions
back into a complete song.
Can you tell where it changes from mp3 to uncompressed and back?

Peter Gabriel plays with phase effects on his own voice so it sound very
processed even when not mp3..
And then there are sections where just a couple of instruments play.
Put a transition in the beginning of such a section and it will be
impossible to pinpoint it.

Interestingly Dracula Moon did not sound so good when I had the digital
out on 100%
I listened to a bunch of BW speakers back in 2005. I compared the
603's (which I didn't like) to the 705s (lots of detail, but too little
bass, even with a subwoofer added) to the CM4s (well balanced and
cheaper since they're no longer in production). I posted a review
