Then disable the oscillator on your unit. You can just ground the input pin..which I think is pin 1 on the oscillator chip.. Does not require taking out the crystal. The noise on the internal 3.3 V rail is way too high to get good jitter out of one of these things. You will need to fix that,

Linn used Tune-dem to demonstrate the Klimax DS to me. When it was described, one of the basic premises was that the more you hear something and the more familiar you become with it, the better it will sound. I thought that was interesting because they always played the Unidisk before the
