Actually you do have personal experience, you just didn't know!
If you open up your Transporter, you'll find it's got three power

JUST USE "MAX", IT WILL CONVERT ALL YOUR FLACS IN ONE GO, CANNO
The emphasis bit is not normally stored on WAV, FLAC, MP3 or any other
computer-format audio files. Therefore, you cannot scan your files to
determine if any are pre-emphasized. The only place I know of where
this infomation is available is on the cue sheet (either .CUE files or

I see...but if I don't use cue sheets...is there anyhting embedded in

You want to see the signal path BE
EAC adds a 'FLAGS PRE' line in the cue-sheet, I don't know if the FLAC
format has the capability for pre-emphasis.

Could someone explain to me how to scan (in XP) my hard drive with 30k
flac files (ripped with EAC), to check if the pre-emphasis flag is

Thanks

Hi, I bought my Duet today, I'm very very pleased with it!
It's everything I need, except the pre-emphasis handling.
I have all my CD's ripped on my pc with single FLAC and cue-sheet. Some
CD's have a pre-emphasis bit, witch can be seen in the cue-sheet.
Is it a lot of trouble to implement the s
Right now I run Klipsch Quintet IIs:

with a Klipsch KSW-10 sub:

Sounds good, but I would appreciate a fuller centre.
I have a chance to get the RC-52 centre channel for a good deal:

well .. I just tried TwistedFLAC on my G4 PPC mini and all I get is
a spinning beach-ball ... had to restart twice :( . I know the MacFUSE
part is fine, because NTFS-3G works perfectly. I will wait until
someone gets this running on the platform. Firefly will suffice until
then.
