i too used to have one connected to an external NOS dac and found the
sound very acceptable.
my cd player then was a Linn Ikemi,a very good sound source.
around this time(6-8 months )ago Linn produced two new products :KLIMAX
DS and Akurate DS players and
Funkstar, this is all very "fishy".
