From my experience the best results were obtained with this glass cable

No, but pyschoacoustics is where you need to look. Engineering will
tell you how it makes a difference and what (numerical) levels that
might be at, but

No I'm just saying the number on it's own is completely meaningless as

Ho hum.
Yes, but I am sure other manufacturers are looking in :)

You are not making your case there.
I'm willing to do a little work on it, but since I
I used to own a Bryston BP25 DA (preamp with built-in DAC). The DAC
section had a phase reversal switch. Any audible differences from
changing phase were so subtle as to be irrelevant, and there's no way in
heck I could have said that one way sounded better than the other. I
think the only reason

Which is what happens when the customers listen more to the reviewers

You will get less signal loss over glass but at less than 30m it won't

Funny, I was just reading their website and realizing that [like
everything else] each manufacturer claims their way is best.

You couldn't just say I like [insert the cable you prefer here].
Instead you had to go thru all of that and top it off by calling my

revisit the OP and the query I had:

works best (for anyone but Pat)?

You could get one, then ABX it with your existing cables to see if it
is good enough for you.

Nice, a bit under $5 with greater than 95% 5-star rating for over 200
users. I'll definitely pick up one of those. Even if it ends up
taking a backseat, you can't go wrong for the price.

I have had bad luck with a spring loaded, round connector (ie not form
fitting), glass toslink cable made by Dayton. The fit is sloppy, and
won't support the cable's own weight, resulting in intermittent signal
loss
