I have Raising Sand - plays perfectly - I use Ethernet to the Transporter -- earwaxer9 System: modified Winsome Labs Mouse, modified Maggie MMG's, Transporter, HSU sub 12, MSB DAC to 500 watt sub slave amp, JPS labs power cords, Silver audio interconnect, Audioquest Granite speaker cable.

Been looking for the simplest and most accurate way for HDCD to FLAC. I have dbPowerAmp which will do HDCD to 20-bits. After this, I assume you raise the volume to shift it 4-bits left to normalize to the full 24 bits? How is this best done, how many dB amplification is this? If I stack DSP

AFAIK all the HDCD decoders work exactly the same as they have the same source. What 4 bits you mean? If there are 4 bits zeroes they are the lower 4 bits that are drown in the noise floor. You may be able to amplify the resulting files by some dB. Sometimes even 1 bit, 6dB. But this is a lossy
