you can't use the toolbox if you run the touch standalone with local server. certain mods will interfere with local server and data storage activities. beside that samba which is used for network file sharing is also disabled buffer. i prefer low settings. you need to try what's best in your s

Today i was unable to connect to the Squeezebox - getting the normal unable to connect 192.168.0.7 9000 error. I found it impossible to troubleshoot without switching the screen back on, once switched back on I had to restart the server. I decided at the same time I would drop the buffer down to

When I first installed TT 3.0 I turned everything on, including the volume lock. But I discovered today that I prefer the sound when disabling volume lock in TT and locking it to 100 in the server configuration. With these new settings I think the new toolbox is a clear improvement from 2.0. --
