Today i was unable to connect to the Squeezebox - getting the normal
unable to connect 192.168.0.7 9000 error.
I found it impossible to troubleshoot without switching the screen back
on, once switched back on I had to restart the server.
I decided at the same time I would drop the buffer down to
When I first installed TT 3.0 I turned everything on, including the
volume lock. But I discovered today that I prefer the sound when
disabling volume lock in TT and locking it to 100 in the server
configuration. With these new settings I think the new toolbox is a
clear improvement from 2.0.

speakers, fed by an SBT - and am still delighted by the sound it
delivers.

as well! The Devialet doesn't seem to fit that criteria, unless the
Euro's finally fallen to it's true value!

The SCHIIT BIFROST is already on it's way to me, much faster than I had
anticipated.
Therefore the Caiman test is out, I believe the BIFROST is the right
DAC for me and will post my review as soon as I get a chance to test
it.

Great to see that slowly but surely some of you folks making further
progress.
It's my experience too that you need to revise and tune the whole chain
not just one piece of it. As I said before. Most revealing means
revealing good and bad.
