Wow, that's a sad picture of ol' Stevie. Nonetheless, I really do like
his forum for general music discussion...
Did he ever try to clear himself of that "endorsement"??? :-)

Boy I didn't realise there was quite so much pent up negativity around
here - chill pills chaps! I know there are trolls to be fed, but even
so...
Anyway, time for a goodbye. Am having a Linn Klimax DS and amps
installed tomorrow - home trialled over Easter, and it was night and day

Cuz it'd be nice to integrate all the 5.1 music into one system like

I have a HRT Music StreamerII (not the +), it works very well with

with this combination it's getting astonishingly good. (it's not the

Hey guys, thought I'd crosspost a little test I did last night which I
put up on Audio Asylum's Computer Audio section since it involves
SqueezePlay.
Can anyone tell me if the Mac SqueezePlay will actually play 24/96 or
will LMS SOX convert it to 24/48 or 16/48 when it's streamed to my Mac?

Returned to vanilla STB wired to Windows 8 server. All
Modem/Router/Switch have linear PS. SBT has CIAudio PS.
WOW!, way to go until TT4.0. More organic sound, fuller lower end, no
harsh...SBT sounds pleasant now!

I've been looking to replace my enormous Denon AV amp with a single
source class-T amplifier as the only thing I feed it with is my SB3.
Looking at the Topping range, the most affordable one that has a digital
coaxial connection is the TP31 ($150), all the rest have RCA analogue
inputs only.

Think you will find that as the Touch is bit perfect that nothing can
change the sound quality, have you tried room compensation software eg

Dear All,
I am temporarily using a Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100 as a loaner while
my modded 840c is off for repairs. I installed Triodes's superb USB
plug-in, and am happily running in USB 2.0 high speed async mode.
Playback seems very clean, and relatively free from HF hash that gives
