surprised - ambience and depth and clarity all seem better.
All I can suggest is try it - took me about an hour to download the
software, understand the instructions and do it (and 15 mins when I did
it again on a friend's Touch)

Sorted - I had two versionsof FLAC, an older one in a differetnt
directory. Don't know which one Foobar searches for but removed both,
reinstalled one and then Foobar prompts me to tell it where FLAC is.
et voila !
Thanks for all the help guys.

Just tried a 96/24 track - same result again !
I'm using Foobar v0.9.5 - perhaps there's a later version that works ?

This way madness lies . . ..
OK, Configured the PHSS (set it to 48k, I presume it means the intended
output) and tried again. Same result. Unticked the DSP option and tried
again - same result.
Is there something about a 24/88200 FLAC file it doesn't like ?

Hi
Just tried setting the project at 48, importing a 96 file, and then
saving ?
Didn't work - just half speed.
Can you give a clear, step by step guide to downsampling high res files
to 48 ?
Thanks

Bottom line is that the whole setup has become even easier to listen

Quality is the paramount issue for me and for that reason I've not used
the SB3 DAC. So back to the question - can the SB3 feed a digital
output to a USB DAC ?
