to each other and in a corner which should equal shed loads of bass/low end. I disconnect one of the speakers and booom. Low end back. Reconnect and try the other and the same thing, sounds normal. All I can think of is the speakers so close either some of the low end out... PHEW!! -- mikeruss

Cheers for the good advice advice. I have a Shek d1 at the moment and I feel it lacks punch/drive compared to my cd player. My favourite tracks which give me goose bumps on the cd player fail to do so with the Shek. Do you have any opinions on later DAC's? -- mikeruss
