I don't think that's gonna happen.
It contradicts the whole concept of getting the audio away from the
computer.
That's what the SBs and Transporter are all about.
Also, Logitech is a hardware company that makes peripheral devices, not
PC components.

As far as I understand there is absolutely no analog attenuation in the
squeezebox. The transporter has jumpers for analog attenuation.

slightly higher volume can make a huge difference in
bringing out more bass, highs and detail. Especially consumer products
seem to only sound good in a very narrow volume band.
Turn up the volume slightly when listening to the squeezebox and it
will sound as good as the cd.

who doesn't really care if your music plays
as mp3 or in a lossless format it is really hard to justify speakers
