One might as well make electric trains or collect stamps. I consider

How true :o(
One answer would be to get a second SB I'spose . .

None of any consequence, but I'm not so sure that audio quantity really
is regarded

I think it goes hand-in-glove that someone who loves something will

I like to think that I'm both an audiphile and a music lover. Given the
choice, without question I'd opt for number two, and I think you'd have
a very hard time finding even the most hard core gear-hound that would
make any other choice.
You could make it much more difficult (and the
I'll pick option one. Really.
I've always liked music when it was on and had cds for the car, but was
never a music lover.
That is until I went to buy a HT setup and happened across an arcam on

The other day a friend said to me Well, I'm not an audiophile like you

This got me thinking, because I don't think I'm an audiophile - more a
music lover who likes good quality sound. I have (a very healthy)
cynicism of the claims made

Interesting.
I would certainly listen to less music given both choices.
Perhaps akin to acquiring a taste for eggplant, I would choose
That's a nice approach, but I'm fear that any audiophile, even the most
hardcore care for music enough to answer 2...

Hah, I think I'm option 2.. Sometimes I happily put on low quality
pandora streams just so I can listen to some good music.
I guess I have what I would call a water line where I'd rather not
listen to music at all.
Things that will make me turn off the music:
* Car tape adapters
* Car FM
