Not exactly audiophile territory, perhaps, but you guys are probably the bunch that cares! I like browsing around for interesting internet radio stations, but are tired of the low bandwidth of many of them. My threshold for talk shows are usually 64k, and 128k for music. Do you know of any web

Thanks, Dennis! I just logged into Squeezenetwork, but I cannot see that the bandwidth is published, except for a few stations. Lets look at Staff Picks / By Genre / News Talk as an example. This is the beginning of the list: BBC World Service | UK (32 kbps) Air America | US (32 kbps) ABC

Per, there are quite a few higher bit stations around the world. you don't mention what kind of music you listen to. log onto Squeezenetwork and have a browse around and each station will give it's bit-rate. i have a few stations in my favourites like AVRO and Bartok radio who stream at 256k

I had the same issue until I discovered AAC+ streams. I find that even 64kbps AAC+ streams sound way better than 128kbps MP3 streams. Unfortunately, AAC+ is not natively supported on SC and are not available on the SqueezeNetwork. However using the mplayer plugin you can easily get SC to play
