I agree entirely with Phil. The sound of this small box is just superb. I've not heard any device of this type or price point that sounds anywhere near as good. It certainly does not have anything of the clinical digital sound or the boxy hollowness commonly associated with this type of device

The sound quality is excellent given the price point. It sounds considerably better than the pair of Swan M200 bookshelf speakers I have connected to a SB3 in my office. There is an issue at high volume - on bass-heavy hiphop the output distorts strongly in the bass by about 80 on the volume.
