I got a black one too even though my old receiver is silver, but everything else on my rack is black. The receiver is too big to fit in the rack so it sits on top of the rack. I will probably order the Duet remote next week to complete the package. It should have been included if you ask me. So fa

Well my refurbished Transporter got here yesterday. The UPS guy dropped it off at the front door. Didn't even ring the door bell or anything, just left it and took off. Luckily I spotted it before anything happened to it. I unboxed it and plugged it in and it quickly found my network and it was up

Good to hear. Mine is supposed to be here tomorrow, unless I miss the UPS guy. I have had an SB3 for a while and I am real happy with it. I am hoping the Transporter sounds even better. My system is an old restored Pioneer SX-1250 receiver with some Mini Strata speakers. Ralph -- Panotaker

I'd say go for it. The returns they get are mostly nothing wrong - the customer just didn't want it or had software/network trouble, for example. Of the ones with defects they swap entire modules (main board, display board etc) so in a refurb there is no higher likelihood of failure than on a new

Anybody having any problems with a refurbished Transporter? I just ordered one and it should be here on Friday. It has the same 30 day return policy, but only a one year warranty. It's $500 cheaper than a new one, but if I hear of a lot of problems, I may just pay the difference and get a new one.
