First Check that the Digital Inputs plugin is installed/active. If it is, then do a Xilinx reset -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal... Touch(wired/XP) - TACT 2.2X (Linear PSU) + Good Vibrations S/W - MF

You don't need to physically unplug the power to perform a reset. Just hold down the power button on the remote and it will reboot. As soon as you see the logo on the VFD after the reboot, hold down 1 on the remote until you see the message that the xilinx is being reset. -- JackOfAll

couple of things to try. on the oppo, make sure the PCM bit rate is set no higher than 96khz, for CDs. on the mini, open the Sound Preference pane and make sure the toslink output is selected. i've had trouble with the digital inputs as well, usually fixed by rotating the TP volume knob; this
