Part 47 or the new regulations and the new aircraft register have nothing
directly to do with aviation security. The new database called AIRES from
memory replaces LARP - LARP had been due for replacement for so long it was
not even Y2000

Dad managed to get a few extra kilometers out of his flight today - he

To get around the altitude inaccuracy problem, has anybody tried looking at
a combination of GPS and baro-altitude, similar to what is done with
embedded GPS/INS technology. The GPS could update the altitude on a
long-term basis and the baro-altitude could fill in the gaps by
integrating the rate

I applied for an ASIC in May 05 (at least at the time I thought that was
what I applied for) and received an AVID dated 09 Oct 05. I then applied
for an ASIC and expect to get it some time in the next several months.
Total processing time about one year!
