John Ashford has a Mosquito at DDSC that does not do much. He is a nice
guy. Probably worth a try.

There is a list on the CASA website under "Aircraft registration" which
lists all aircraft for which they have not received the paperwork to
transfer to Part 47 status. Maybe this is the place to look. There are a
number of gliding clubs with guernseys in this list. There is at least

Yes, that too :-)
And more likely to be true as the glider type gets older too.
What I really meant was, those that have been transferred are more
likely to be in use or have owners who care
Or possibly no longer in existence...

As per Mark N's email. Probably Steve Were is the owner.

Thanks John Parncutt, John Ashford and

Your help is much appreciated.
John A, I would like to take up your offer
of SWR meter when you return from the desert.
Ian, my glider is ASW20C. No prangs. But
there was damage some time ago from mice eating into total energy tubes in the
fin.

Richard, What glider do you have? The
ones that have aerials that play up are all Libelle 301s and early 201s and
the Nimbus 4DM (aerial is in rudder and receives a dose of tail water all
over the BNC connector!!) to name a few. I am sure there are many
others. Also has the glider had a b

I find problems of this type are nearly always
to do with the radio installation or outside attachments such as power supply,
microphone etc. Power supply connections and antennae connections are a
big one. I have a SWR meter in my car at Birkdale with all relevant connectors
No pictures Chris, I'm disappointed, you know I
cant read.

Good luck though Adam, it would be nice if you find something.

G'day All,
Just wondering whether anyone knows of any gliders (particulary: Std Cirrus,
Cirrus 75, LS4 or Discus) that have been put into a trailer/storage and have
been forgotten about (by their owners)?
I'm looking for a glider to look after, form 2, insure, improve, compete in
